This page is a working template. OnlyLocus will have it checked by a qualified advisor before treating it as final legal text.
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. They let the site recognise the same browser on the next page or the next visit, which is how a preference you set once survives a reload. Browser local storage does a similar job and is covered here too.
We use them to remember your language and theme, to keep your age confirmation from reappearing on every page, to hold your wishlist, and to count visits without counting the same person ten times. There is no advertising network involved and nothing is sold on.
Three groups, and that is the whole list:
The catalog serves its own fonts, images, and scripts, so on normal pages there is nothing from an outside domain. Where a protection service sits in front of the site to filter abusive traffic, it may set its own cookie. That is the only third party in the chain, and it has its own policy.
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, and every one of them hides the control somewhere slightly different. You can usually clear data for a single site without touching the rest:
Nothing important. Search, categories, and profiles all work with cookies switched off. The site will forget your language and theme, ask about your age on every visit, and lose the wishlist, because that list only ever existed in your browser.
If we add or remove a cookie, this page is updated and the date at the top moves. It is worth a look now and then if this matters to you.
