What is actually private about paying for a page

The creator does not see your card. Your bank does see a charge. Between those two facts sits everything people worry about, and most of it is manageable.
Worth separating what is genuinely private from what people assume is private and is not.
What the creator sees
Your display name, your username, and the fact that you subscribed. If you message them, they see the message.
They do not see your card, your legal name, your address or your email. Payment goes through the platform and stops there.
Your display name is whatever you set. It does not have to be your name, and it is the single easiest privacy setting to get right before you subscribe rather than after.
What your bank sees
A charge, an amount and a merchant descriptor. The descriptor is deliberately generic in most regions and does not name the creator. It is still a line on a statement, which matters if that statement is shared.
There is no way around this one. Any payment method that reaches a card ends up on a statement, and the platform does not accept the alternatives people usually ask about.
What we see at our end
We run a catalog, not an account system. There is no login here, no subscription, no payment. The wishlist lives in your browser and never reaches our server, which is why it does not follow you to another device.
We do count page views in aggregate to know which parts of the catalog get used. That is a counter, not a profile of you.
The settings worth doing first
- Set a display name you are comfortable with a stranger reading.
- Turn off auto-renew immediately after subscribing, so a lapsed interest does not become a recurring line item.
- Decide before you start whether you will unlock paid messages, because deciding in the moment is how the number gets away from people.
The genuinely risky part
Not the platform. The links out of it.
Roughly one bio in ten sends you elsewhere, and "elsewhere" has none of the platform's protections. Payment requests off-platform, login pages that are not the real login page, and Telegram channels asking for anything at all are where the actual losses happen. The scam list covers those in detail.
