Diego is an Argentine artist born in 1975. Currently he lives and works in Barcelona He began studying analogical photography and black-and-white darkroom techniques in 1995, participating in several Image development, photographic concept, and color & vision workshops taught by photographer Albert Goldenstein. Later he specialized in studio photo & lighting, experimenting with a wide variety of formats and exploring the technical and aesthetic possibilities of both analogical and digital photography in a controlled space. He complements this knowledge with an extended experience as a set dresser and art director in advertising, TV series, feature & short films, developing a distinctive and conceptually strong approach to image. For the past 6 years he’s been particularly interested in instant photography, developing a personal project based in nude portraits that has been exhibited in Spain recently.
